The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for separating paper and a plastic material from paper coated with a plastic material which is used for manufacturing FPCB without environmental pollution. Particularly, the apparatus can selectively separate paper and the plastic material with simple operation according to the kind of the plastic material (thermosetting properties and thermoplastic properties) and a state that the paper is laminated in uniform thickness. Therefore, one apparatus can perform various kinds of separation work. The apparatus includes a chamber having a crushing means, and an inlet to allow an object to be inserted into the chamber. The object is inserted through the inlet and is crushed by the crushing means installed in the chamber. Lightweight particles of the object are scattered to the upside and are discharged. Heavyweight particles fall down by weight and are transferred to a next chamber. The scattered lightweight particles are discharged through an outlet of the chamber. In the outlet, an air adjustment hole for adjusting air pressure in the chamber is formed. The outlet having the air adjustment hole discharges the lightweight particles along a transfer line through branched discharge lines to the outside. An inlet of a blower fan is separated from a discharge hole through which the heavyweight particles, fallen by weight, are discharged to adjust air pressure of the blower fan when the heavyweight particles are transferred to a next chamber. |
