PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray imaging apparatus and a method of generating an X-ray image which can quickly acquire an X-ray image in which a blood vessel figure with high contrast is reflected while suppressing the exposure dose of a subject.SOLUTION: In an embodiment, a first subtraction image is acquired with the first radiography, and a second subtraction image is acquired by performing the second radiography when an image with higher quality is desired. Since the first subtraction image is generated by performing image processing of subtracting a defocus image from a contrast image in which a blood vessel is contrasted, an X-ray image with a clear blood vessel can be observed. Since the second subtraction image is generated by subtracting a non-contrast image from the contrast image, an X-ray image with a clearer blood vessel can be observed. In a case where the purpose can be achieved with the first subtraction image, since the second radiography can be omitted, the duration of radiography can be shortened and the exposure dose of the subject can be reduced. |
