PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide novel isomers of a human metabolite of iloperidone, their production, their use as pharmaceuticals and pharmaceutical compositions containing them.SOLUTION: The problem is solved by: (S)-1-(4-{3-[4-(6-fluoro-benzo[d]isoxazol-3-yl)-piperidin-1-yl]-propoxy}-3-methoxy-phenyl)-ethanol represented by formula (II), which is an optical isomer of an iloperidone metabolite P-88-8991; and their production and their use as pharmaceuticals.
