PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater detection device and underwater detection method and, more specifically, to provide an underwater detection device, comprising two DC electrodes and multiple measurement electrodes, for detecting underwater movement of an object having electrical conductivity different from that of water.SOLUTION: An underwater detection device of the present invention comprises two DC electrodes, multiple measurement electrodes, and a control/measurement module for measuring voltages of the multiple measurement electrodes, and is capable of accurately detecting the presence of a moving object even in an area with severe noise due to strong tides or in an area where water layers of different temperature and salinity are mixed. Each of the multiple measurement electrodes has an electrode control module which includes a first switch, a second switch, a control unit and others, has a small number of voltage measurement lines, and makes it easy to obtain voltage between two selected electrodes. |
