PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a large contact pressure between male and female terminals, and to provide a connector in which setting of an elastic contact piece is less likely to occur.SOLUTION: An elastic arm 33 projecting from the inner wall of a female housing 30 is engaged with a female terminal 40, and the female terminal is fixed removably to the female housing. The female terminal has a socket 45 into which a male terminal 20 is inserted, an elastic contact piece 46 provided in the socket while being supported by the cylindrical wall of the socket on one end side, and displacing the male terminal inserted into the socket by coming into contact therewith, and an elastic wall 43 forming a part of the cylindrical wall of the socket, and displacing by being pressed outward by the elastic contact piece thus displaced. The elastic arm is provided on the elastic wall side of the socket, so as to be pressed outward by the elastic contact piece thus displaced. Contact pressure of the elastic contact piece is increased by pressing the displaced elastic contact piece by means of the displaced elastic wall and elastic arm. |
