PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a black color composite fine particle having high light shading property suitable as a black color component such as a black matrix of a color filter, and further a black color resin composition capable of forming a black matrix having high light shading property.SOLUTION: There are provided a black color composite fine particle represented by a composition formula:TiNxOy zX, where X represents a metal atom, x represents the number of more than 0 and less than 2, y represents the number of 0 or more and less than 2 and z represents the number of more than 0 and less than 10, and a black color resin composition containing at least light shading material, resin and a solvent, the composition containing at least the black color composite fine particle as the light shading material.
