a determination unit configured to determine, in a case where a printing instruction is output for generating print data via a printing dialog of an application in a first user interface environment, whether a currently presented user interface environment is the first user interface environment or the second user interface environment; and a display unit configured to display, in a case where the determination unit determines that the currently presented user interface environment is the second user interface environment, a display area where an instruction can be accepted in the second user interface environment, wherein, when the display area is instructed, a printing-time input screen corresponding to the output instruction is displayed in the second user interface environment.
