The invention relates to an antifriction bearing for a sprocket wheel in a transfer gearbox (1) of a motor vehicle, comprising an input shaft (2) connected to the propulsion unit of the motor vehicle, a first output shaft (3) secured against rotation to the input shaft (2) and a second output shaft (4), as well as a torque transmission device (5) with a clutch (6) for transmitting, if required, a drive moment introduced via the input shaft (2) also to the second output shaft (4). The input shaft (2) and the second output shaft (4) are offset relative to each other, and a differential drive is provided between the torque transmission device (5) and the second output shaft (4) and forms a chain drive with a first sprocket wheel (7) rotatably mounted on the input shaft (2), via an antifriction bearing (10), a second sprocket wheel (8) secured against rotation to the second output shaft (4) and rotating in a lubricating oil sump, and a link chain (9) interconnecting said sprocket wheels. According to the invention, the antifriction bearing (10) is designed as a single-row angular contact ball bearing (15) which is inserted in a bearing seat (11) of the first sprocket wheel (7) and consists of an outer bearing ring (16), an inner bearing ring (17) and bearing balls (20) that roll therebetween in raceways (18, 19), the outer bearing ring (16) comprising an axial extension (22) that protrudes axially on one side beyond the width of the inner bearing ring (17), with a hollow profile ring (24) which has a smaller inner diameter (DI) than the outer diameter (DA) of the inner bearing ring (17) and is pressed into the inner jacket surface (23) of the axial extension (22), through which a lubricating oil reservoir can be stored in the angular contact ball bearing (15) when the first sprocket wheel (7) is at a standstill, and which at the same time is provided to prevent the inner bearing ring (17) from being lost during transport or assembly of the angular contact ball bearing (15). |
