The invention relates to a single-strand cable (C) rubberized in situ andcomprising: a layer (CT1) inside the cable comprising N1 inner wires; a layer (CT3) outside the cable comprising N3 outer wires wound helically about the layer inside the cable; and a rubber composition (20) disposed between the inner and outer layers of the cable. The rubber composition (20) comprises a metal oxide and an epoxy resin comprising at least one unit having an aromatic nucleus and/or an unsaturated aliphatic chain.
