Provided are a sending path and a data processing method for the sending path, which are used for controlling the amount of data stored by the sending path, and then controlling the blocking delay of a packet to avoid the condition of an over-high sending delay of the packet. The sending path comprises: an FD storage module for receiving and storing an FD of a first frame sent by a traffic management (TM) module, wherein the FD of the first frame comprises a length value of the first frame; a computation module for determining the amount of data stored by the sending path according to the length value of the first frame stored in the FD storage module; a judgement module for judging whether the amount of data stored by the sending path which is determined by the computation module is greater than a preset data amount threshold; and an instruction module for sending a back pressure signal to the TM module when the judgement module judges that the amount of data stored by the sending path is greater than the preset data amount threshold, wherein the back pressure signal is used for instructing the TM module to stop sending an FD of a second frame to the sending path. |
