PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately detect the occurrence of knocking in a cylinder direct-injection internal combustion engine.SOLUTION: A cylinder head 3 includes a cylinder head body 3c; a plurality of fuel ports extending from a sidewall surface 3a of the cylinder head body 3c on a side on which intake ports 4 are formed with respect to a longitudinal axis to corresponding cylinders, respectively; a plurality of injection valve attachment bosses 7 protruding from the sidewall surface 3a around the fuel ports, respectively, the injection valve attachment bosses 7 being suited to attach the cylinder direct-injection internal combustion engine to the fuel ports; and a plurality of protrusions 9 protruding from the sidewall surface 3a while being adjacent to the respective fuel valve attachment bosses 7. A cylinder block 2 includes a cylinder block body 2c, and a sensor attachment boss 11 protruding from a sidewall surface of the cylinder block body 2c on the same side as the sidewall surface 3a of the cylinder head body 3c with respect to the longitudinal axis, and suited for attaching a knocking sensor. |
