PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the load of arithmetic processing.SOLUTION: A rader device has the following scan modes: a first scan mode that scans a transmission wave in a horizontal direction with respect to each of multiple irradiation angles when an object to be monitored is detected at the multiple irradiation angles in a vertical direction; and a second scan mode that selects at least one of the irradiation angles when the object to be monitored is detected at the irradiation angles in the vertical direction, to scan the transmission wave in a horizontal direction with respect to the selected irradiation angle. A scan mode setting section of a lader device 1 sets the first scan mode or the second scan mode, on the basis of a relationship in distance between a vehicle and the object to be monitored. |
