The present invention generally relates to systems and methods for stimulating tissue using synchronized energy from multiple sources. In certain embodiments, the invention provides a system for stimulating tissue that includes a first energy source, a second energy source, and a synchronizing element that synchronizes the two energies such that the combined effect stimulates the tissue.
