The invention relates to an automatic feed dispenser (1) for animal cages, especially for pen cages, comprising: a feed container (2) with an access opening (3) located in the lower portion of the container (2); a grille (4) located in the access opening (3); and a closure surface (5) that can cover the access opening (3). The automatic dispenser (1) is designed such that the feed container (2) and the closure surface (5) can be moved relative to one another, such that, in the closed position, the closure surface (5) covers the access opening (3) and blocks access to the inside of the container (2) and, in the open position, the inside of the container (2) can be accessed. The automatic dispenser (1) also comprises actuation means for producing said relative movement. |
