A tripod for supporting a warning lamp (10) comprises three bent metal or plastics rods, tubes or strips 11, 12, 13, the head parts 11a, 12a of two tubes being welded to one side of a mounting plate 14 so that their leg parts 11b, 12b diverge, and the head part 13a of the third tube being pivoted by a pin 16 to the head parts 11a, 12a of the other two tubes. In the erected position the head part 13a of the third tube abuts the plate 14 and the lamp (10) is clamped by bolts and spacers (17) to the plate on the same side thereof as the head parts of the tubes and therefore prevents pivoting of the third tube. |
