Novel compounds of Formula I wherein R is aryl, alkaryl, alkoxyaryl, or haloaryl, the alkyl and alkoxy substituents having 1-4 carbon atoms, and n is an integer of from 1-4, are prepared (1) by dehydrating and cyclizing an N-aroyl-N<SP>1</SP>-haloacylhydrazine of formula R-CONHNH-CO(CH 2 ) n -halogen, or (2) by reacting an aroyl hydrazine of formula RCONHNH 2 with an iminoether hydrohalide of Formula II wherein R<SP>1</SP> is C 1-4 alkyl.
