This device for measuring elevator hoistway dimensions comprises: a base (8) mounted on a building floor; a first arm (9) extending in one direction from the base and protruding into a hoistway; a pair of second arms (10) extending, when viewed in said direction, from both sides of the base and coming into contact with the inner surfaces, respectively, of a pair of facing side frame members (25) of a three-sided frame (5); a pair of third arms (11) extending parallel to the second arms to the outside of the side frame members of the three-sided frame; and a three-dimensional measurement device (13) mounted to an end of the first arm and three-dimensionally measuring, within the hoistway, the hoistway.
