Provided are: a clarifying agent composition which has the form of a powder having excellent fluidability; and a polyolefin resin composition which enables the production of a molded article having excellent transparency. A clarifying agent composition characterized by being produced by heating a mixture at a temperature of 80 to 180ºC, wherein the mixture comprises 85 mass% or more of a benzylidene sorbitol compound represented by general formula (1), 5 to 10 mass% of tetrakis[3(3,5-di-(tertiary butyl)-4- hydroxyphenyl)propionyloxymethyl]methane, and 6 to 9 mass% of a lubricant. (In formula (1), R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R1, R2, R3 and R4 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, a cyano group or an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms.) |
