<p>The invention provides an elevator abnormality monitoring device to improve detection precision of abnormal actions of passengers inside the cage. The elevator abnormality monitoring device comprises an operation controlling apparatus (12) that controls a cage (1); an announcement apparatus (5) that announces passengers in the cage; a shooting apparatus (2) that shoots the cage condition; an abnormal action detection apparatus (7) that detects passengers (11A, 11B) shoot by the shooting apparatus and detects abnormal actions of the passengers; a vibration detecting apparatus (9) that detects abnormal vibrations of the cage ground; and an abnormal action timing apparatus (8) that times the continuing detecting time of the abnormal actions detected by the abnormal action detection apparatus. The abnormal vibration is detected by the vibration detecting apparatus, and when the continuing detecting time timed by the abnormal action timing apparatus is beyond a prescript time, the operation controlling apparatus controls at least one of the announcement apparatus or the cage as the procedures related to preventing abnormal actions.</p> |
