<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding with an excellent appearance and physical properties, composed of a fiber-reinforced composite material that contains a reinforced fiber and a thermoplastic resin, and to provide a method of manufacturing the same in which loss of the substrate of a fabrication time is extremely reduced. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the molding composed of the fiber-reinforced composite material is characterized as follows. A random mat is composed by a reinforced fiber in which a mean fiber length is at least 5 mm and at most 100 mm, and a thermoplastic resin. When the random mat is used in which as for a reinforced fiber bundle (A) that has a reinforced fiber of 25-3,000 g/m<SP POS="POST">2</SP>of a mass per unit area, that is composed of at least a criticality single yarn number defined by the following formula (1): criticality single yarn number = 600/D, wherein D is an average fiber diameter (μm) of the reinforced fiber, and in which the proportion to the reinforced fiber total amount in the random mat is at least 20 Vol% and at most 99 Vol%, and is performed with processes from impregnation to molding, the end portion of the random mat is overlapped. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT</p> |
