<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording device and a method of recovering a recording head, in which, in the environment that dust, such as paper powder, is apt to attach to the circumference of a discharge port in a recording head, a recovery operation for the recording head is performed according to the degree of the attachment thereof.SOLUTION: An inkjet recording device includes: a cutter means for cutting a recording medium; and a recovery means for performing a recovery operation by wiping out while sucking at a discharge port forming part formed in a discharge port in the recording head. The recovery operation for the recording head is performed by the recovery means when the number of passages that a cut part of the recording medium which is cut by the cutter means passes through a recording position is a threshold value or more.</p> |
