<p>The invention relates to a computer-aided method for verifying or identifying a model structure of a system to be tested (1), involving the steps of: creating a system of equations (26), which has at least one parameter, for describing the system (1) to be tested or a part thereof, wherein a description model underlies the system of equations (26) as an assumed model of the system (1) and/or a description model structure underlies the system of equations as an assumed model structure of the system (1); restructuring the system of equations (26) into a test model (10), which has no or reduced parameters, which qualitatively describes the system and which describes at least one model output signal on the basis of one or a plurality of model input signals; stimulating the test model (10) with at least one model input signal; capturing at least one model output signal of the test model (10); comparing (32) the at least one model output signal of the test model with at least one corresponding system signal; and/or calculating a quality function on the basis of the at least one model signal and of a system signal; selecting the description model or the selected description model structure as an identified model or as an identified structure of the system (1) if a pre-defined criterion was satisfied during the comparison or by the quality function; or creating a modified system of equations (26), which a modified description model and/or a modified description mode structure underlie; and repeating the method steps if the pre-defined criterion was not satisfied during the comparison (32) or by the quality function; and/or assigning the result of the comparison (32) to the description model as an evaluation of the description model.</p> |
