<p>A mechanical arresting disk brake comprising an adjustment bolt (3) mounted on an action part (2) side of a calliper body (1), a piston (4) provided at a tip of said adjustment bolt (3), and action part (2) side as well as reaction part (8) side friction pads (6, 7) that are adapted to be brought, by a movement of said piston toward a disk rotor (5), into sliding contact with both side faces of the disk rotor. Further, the adjustment bolt and the piston are formed integrally, and a tip of the piston is fittingly arranged, with a C-clip (23) intervening, on a circular coupling section formed on a backing plate (24) that constitutes a back side of the friction pads, to connect the friction pad (6) and the piston (4) in such a way as to be rotatable independently of each other.</p> |
