A securement system 500 for a user interface, the securement system comprising a dermal patch 550 attachable to the skin of a user by adhesive on one surface, and a user interface patch 552 attachable to the user interface on one surface, the patches being provided on their other surfaces with the complimentary parts of a two-part releasable attachment system 551, such as a hook and loop connection. The dermal patch may have a first part of the attachment system provided as a substrate 553 secured to the dermal patch. The user interface may be a nasal cannula or an associated component such as a tube or tubing. Also described is a securement system having a dermal patch, and a securing patch affixable to the dermal patch and having a footprint smaller than or equal to the dermal patch; and one part of a releasable fastener, being a substrate having a slot. |
