A tool servicing apparatus 1 comprising a tool support frame assembly 20, at least two brace members 40, 50, 60 for attachment to a serviced tool 101, for connection to a rotary drive, further comprising fastening means 10 attachable to at least one of the brace members and the tool support 20 (figure 3) and configured to resist rotation of the brace member with respect to the tool support. At least one of the brace members is adapted to attach to a drive member 32, the drive member being adapted to connect to a rotary drive so that said rotary drive may cause rotation of components of the serviced tool situated between the brace member fastened against rotation and the brace member having the drive member attached thereto. Also disclosed is a bi-directional rotary drive 530 comprising a first linear actuator 535, a second linear actuator 536 attached respectively to a first arm and a second arm both mounted for rotation on a common axis, wherein rotation of the first actuator rotates the first arm clockwise and counter clockwise wherein extension and retraction of the first and second linear actuators rotates the second arm counter clockwise and clockwise respectively. |
