The method of optimising resistance welding parameters comprises, based on a given welding current pulse (I sold ) applied to metal elements to be welded providing a weld that is considered to be correct in one spot of a spot welding sequence, performing in each subsequent spot of the sequence: applying a first current pulse (I FVP ) obtained by voltage profile monitoring and a second current pulse coinciding with said given pulse (I sold ); repeating the two pulses, adjusting in each repetition the first pulse value until reaching a value equivalent to the energy provided by said given pulse (I sold ); and applying to the subsequent welds of the sequence, a series of current pulses with an intensity value corresponding to the welding current pulse of said final adjustment. |
