摘要 Provided is a lithium ion battery, in which the occurrence of internal short-circuit caused by metallic foreign matters can be prevented and, therefore, the reliability of the battery can be improved. In the present invention, for example, a separator (SP1) is formed so as to be adhered to a positive electrode active material that is formed on a first surface of a positive electrode (PEL), and a separator (SP2) is formed so as to be adhered to a positive electrode active material that is formed on a second surface of the positive electrode (PEL) which is the opposite side of the first surface of the positive electrode (PEL). Therefore, according to the present invention, there is formed no void space between the positive electrode (PEL) and the separator (SP1) or between the positive electrode (PEL) and the separator (SP2), and therefore the invasion of any metallic foreign matter that is adhered onto the positive electrode (PEL) can be prevented.
