PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination setting support device that enables a user to easily set an optimum lighting pattern while visually confirming the pattern.SOLUTION: Image capturing by a bar code reader 2 is executed while, based on illumination parameters including plural typical lighting patterns, partial illumination according to the plural lighting patterns is performed in order (S204). Plural captured images captured by the bar code reader 2 according to the plural lighting patterns are sequentially acquired (S206). A list of the acquired plural captured images is displayed, and a lighting pattern corresponding to each captured image is list-displayed with the captured image (S208). An illumination parameter corresponding to a captured image selected from among the list-displayed captured images is set (S209, S210). Based on the set illumination parameter, the bar code reader 2 and illumination units 4, 5 are controlled. |
