PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an external resonator capable of projecting a laser beam in a high efficiency, to provide light source equipment using the external resonator, to provide a projector, and to provide a monitoring device, in case of using the external resonator by combining an array light source. SOLUTION: The external resonator is equipped with a volume hologram 15 which is plural wavelength selection reflective parts selectively reflecting a light having a specific wavelength and resonates lights having specific wavelengths from plural light emitting members, wherein the wavelength selection reflective part has a primary side 17 which is an entrance plane to which an incidence of the lights having the specific wavelengths from the light emitting members is carried out, and the plural wavelength selection reflective parts are provided with: a first wavelength selection reflective part; and a second wavelength selection reflective part which is arranged so that a tilt of an entrance plane of the second wavelength selection reflective part may be different from that of the first wavelength selection reflective part.
