PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-component developer or the like which avoids the contamination of members and a carrier in a developing device, excels in all of durability, low-temperature fixability, offset resistance and storage stability, and can form a high-quality image with no abnormal image. SOLUTION: The two-component developer comprises a toner and carrier, wherein a polyester resin (A) is a resin resulting from (meth)acrylic acid modified rosin obtained by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component including≥65 mol% of 1,2-propanediol and a carboxylic acid component including (meth)acrylic acid modified rosin, and a polyester resin (B) is a resin resulting from refined rosin obtained by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component including≥70 mol%, in total, of 1,2-propanediol and 1,3-propanediol and a carboxylic acid component including refined rosin, and wherein a coating layer of the carrier includes at least one resin selected from a silicone resin, melamine resin, benzoguanamine resin and acrylic resin.
