PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method whereby use of an unauthorized toner supply container can be prevented, fraudulent use of the recycled product as a used toner supply container is prevented, and fraudulent addition of toner to an authorized toner supply container can also be prevented. SOLUTION: The fraudulent use prevention system includes: a storage section that stores toner to be supplied; a data storage section for storing data including the cumulative number of printed sheets, the cumulative number of the pixels of the prints, and a first password number; and an interface enabling the main body to acquire the data. The main body has: a calculating section that calculates a second password number following a predetermined procedure using the cumulative number of printed sheets and the cumulative number of the pixels of the prints, acquired from the data storage section; and a determining section that determines whether the second password number is coincident with the first password number or not. The determining section checks coincidence of the first password number with the second password number and thus fraudulent use prevention system can prevent the fraudulent use of a toner supply unit.
