PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in which a welded portion is located only on the back of a film, which would make the welding intensity insufficient, with the result that the welded portion is peeled off as a belt rotates. SOLUTION: In the transfer belt 10, joint members 110 and 120 of different thicknesses are joined to the two belt ends 100A and 100B of a belt base material 100 by ultrasonic welding. The joint member 120 joined to the surface of the belt is thinner than the joint member 110 joined to the back of the belt.
