PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security by preventing image data from being leaked to a third person. SOLUTION: When an attachment/detachment detecting section detects that an operation panel is detached from a printer body (step S301), a confidential processing section determines whether or not image data of a security level requiring confidential processing are stored in a memory (step S302). When the image data of the security level requiring confidential processing are stored in the storage section, the confidential processing section performs confidential processing of erasing the image data of the security level (step S303).
