PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a tire of different rim diameters having a resin film layer in its inner most layer by using the same resin film wound in role. SOLUTION: The method for producing a tire having the inner most layer made of a resin film layer obtained by patching plural of resin film pieces F11 comprises positioning resin film pieces F11 having a predetermined width composed of an adhesive layer and a peeling-off layer on the adhesive layer on a conveyer 15, peeling-off the peeling-off layer F2 to expose the adhesive layer, positioning thereon the resin film pieces F11 for the next stage by laminating the side peripheral parts of the pieces and adhering the laminated parts to each other. The resin film materials obtained by repeating the above process steps are adhered on a drum for molding a tire as the inner most layer thereof and then other constructing materials for the tire are positioned thereon, whereby the desired tire is obtained.
