PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration welding apparatus easily made into an automated apparatus by surely holding a component to a vibrating tool. SOLUTION: The vibration welding apparatus comprises the vibrating tool 2 receiving a first component 4 to be welded from below, and a pressing tool 3 receiving a second component 5 to be welded. A component chuck 12 is attached to the pressing tool 3 to clamp and position the first component 4. A lift base 7 supporting the pressing tool 3 is supported to a rotary index shaft 8 and moves back and forth between a position aligned directly under the vibrating tool 2 and a component setting position. The lift base 7 aligned beneath the vibrating tool 2 is pushed upward by a pressing shaft 10. The first component 4 thereby gets into the vibrating tool 2 from below.
