PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently cut a continuously delivered wide belt sheet into a plurality of cut sheets having prescribed widths and lengths to obtain the cut sheets with fine cut surfaces. SOLUTION: The continuously delivered wide belt sheet S0 is simultaneously divided into a plurality of primary belt sheets S1 having cut chips T1 and required widths of both edge parts of the belt sheet S0 by a first slitter 1. During the division, each of the plurality of primary belt sheets S1 is alternately sorted to front and rear sides in the order arranged in a belt sheet width direction and is traveled. Each of the primary belt sheets S1 during the traveling after the sorting is divided into secondary belt sheets S2 having cut chips T2 and prescribed widths of both edges of the belt sheets S1 by a second slitter 4. The secondary belt sheets S2 are supplied to a rotary cutter 5. The secondary belt sheets S2 are cut for every prescribed length along the belt sheet width direction by the rotary cutter 5.
