PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To elongate an apparatus life cycle as much as possible in an ultrasonic atomizing apparatus having a plurality of ultrasonic vibrators (atomization units). SOLUTION: The driving time for the ultrasonic vibrators (atomization units) is measured, and the cumulative total of the measured driving time is stored for every ultrasonic vibrator. When determining a part (the predetermined number) of the plurality of ultrasonic vibrators as the driving ultrasonic vibrators, only the predetermined number in order from the stored shorter cumulative total time is selected from among the plurality of ultrasonic vibrators (step S18), and the selected predetermined number of ultrasonic vibrators is determined as the driving ultrasonic vibrators.
