PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination fixture capable of preventing a falling prevention material from getting stuck between a cover and the fixture main body. SOLUTION: This is equipped with the fixture main body 1, the cover 2 to be mounted so as to cover the lower face of the fixture main body 1, a pair of sockets 4, a pair of support springs 5 to pinch a side face of a base 30 of a fluorescent lamp 3 in a state that the fluorescent lamp 3 is attached to the socket 4, and the falling prevention material 6 which is rotatable around the axial part 60 inserted into an insertion hole 51a of the supporting spring 5, and which prevents the fluorescent lamp 3 from getting removed and falling from the socket 4 by being arranged to straddle the lower face of the fluorescent lamp 3. By arranging a bent part 61 composed by bending the tip part of the shaft part 60 of the falling prevention material 6 between a nearly rectangular cut and raised part 50a which is cut and raised downward from the bottom plate part 50 of the support spring 5 and a side face of the socket main body 40, a regulating means is constituted to regulate rotation of the falling prevention material 6 to the inward direction.
