<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of forming an extremely high quality image free from abnormal images by using a toner excellent in all of low temperature fixing property, offset resistance, durability, pulverizing property, and storage property and decreasing generation of bad odor. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus uses a toner containing the following binder resin. The binder resin comprises a polyester resin (A) and a polyester resin (B) having a softening point higher by 10°C or more than that of the polyester resin (A); the polyester resin (A) is a resin derived from (meth)acrylic acid-modified rosin having a polyester unit obtained by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component with a carboxylic acid component containing a (meth)acrylic acid modified rosin; and the polyester resin (B) is a resin derived from a purified rosin having a polyester unit obtained by condensation polymerization of an alcohol component and a carboxylic acid component containing a purified rosin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
