<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a user to easily perform an input instruction with respect to a coordinate input area. <P>SOLUTION: A light shielding object is made to come close to a coordinate input effective area 3 to perform a first coordinate input operation. When, thereafter a second coordinate input operation by another light shielding object, which is different from the light shielding object performing the first coordinate input operation, is performed, a coordinate input device is operated in an operation mode. When the light shielding object is made to come into contact with the coordinate input effective area 3 to perform the first coordinate input operation, the coordinate input device is operated in a plotting mode. Even when the light shielding object is made to come close to the coordinate input effective area 3 to perform the first coordinate input and thereafter the second coordinate input operation is not performed, the coordinate input device is operated in the plotting mode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
