The invention provides a networked system to integrate energy monitoring for various sectors of the restaurant or commercial catering area, energy saving on air extraction and air conditioning in particular and safety controls for ensuring adequate air extraction and fresh air supply, action should noxious gases build up to a dangerous level and fire safety.
