A SINGLE CHIP 3D AND 2D GRAPHICS PROCESSOR WITH EMBEDDED MEMORY AND MULTIPLE LEVELS OF POWER CONTROLS

A one-chip 3D(Dimensional) and 2D(Dimensional) graphic processor equipped with an embedded memory and multilevel power control is provided to minimize power consumption without lowering system performance by adjusting more than one clock signal or a power level in response to more than one performance feedback signal according to a power saving algorithm. More than one clock or voltage level adjusting circuit(101) adjusts more than one clock or voltage level signal. More than one data processing blocks(102) processes data by responding to more than one clock or voltage level signal. More than one performance feedback signal(104) is operated in real-time by measuring performance of the data processing blocks. The clock or voltage level adjusting circuit adjusts more than one clock or voltage level in real-time by responding to more than one performance feedback signal.
