A broadcasting receiver and broadcast signal processing method are disclo sed. Herein a receiver receives a broadcast signal including mobile service data and main service data, in which the mobile service data is able to cons truct a RS frame, and the RS frame includes at least one data packet of the mobile service data, a RS parity generated on the basis of the at least one data packet, a CRC checksum generated on the basis of the at least one data packet and the RS parity. A RS frame decoder performs a CRC decoding and a R S decoding on the RS frame, and corrects errors encountered in the mobile se rvice data. And a decoder extracts audio data from an audio stream contained in the mobile service data, decodes the audio data on the basis of Huffman table information and area division information contained in the audio data, dequantizes the decoded audio data, and restoring an audio signal.
