<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the ink supply adjusting method and device, in which the burden of an operator is reduced by making the automatic adjustment of the opening of an ink fountain key and of the rotating speed of an ink fountain roller possible in response to the pre-measured width or area of a line-like part and, at the same time, the cost-down of printing can be contrived by reducing the developing amount of spoilage. <P>SOLUTION: In the relief printing machine equipped with an ink fountain 1 for storing the ink, ink fountain keys 3 (or 3-1 to 3n) for adjusting the amount of the ink supplied from the ink fountain and the ink fountain roller 4 as an ink supply adjusting method, a line width measuring camera 44 for measuring the width of the line-like part of the paper W printed by the relief printing machine is equipped so as to measure the width of the line-like part of the paper printed by the relief printing machine in order to control the opening of the ink fountain keys 3 (or 3-1 to 3n) and the rotating speed of the ink fountain roller 4 by the measured width of the line-like part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
