PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To downsize a current limiting reactor by reducing a current on the occurrence of a fault even when a mechanical or self-arc-unextinguishable semiconductor switch is used as a system-interconnected switch.
SOLUTION: A commutating circuit 15, in parallel, and a current limiting reactor 16, in series, are connected with the mechanical or self-arc-unextinguishable switch 3, and also after the occurrence of power failure, the output voltage of a power converter 8 is changed in a ramp form to a certain value such as a rated value, with the voltage detected value at the point of system interconnection as an initial value, whereby this system changes the voltage of a power converter 8, according to its overage, when the current of the power converter detected with a converter current detector 6 is over a certain limit value, in the process of reducing an accidental current.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
|
