<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover member wherein stress produced by vibration of an electric wire is eliminated from concentrating on one point to prevent a break in the vibrating electric wire and thus an electric wire can be covered without the occurrence of a break. <P>SOLUTION: The cover member 10 covers a pull-down wire d conductively connected to a distribution line D so that it is suspended, together with the distribution line. The cover member includes: a cover body 11 that covers a suspended portion of a pull-down wire together with a distribution line; and an extension cover 31 that covers the lead-out portion of the pull-down wire led out of the cover body in the direction of extension.
