<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the capacity of a buffer which should be held by a destination node in a system which divides data, transmits the data to the destination node with a plurality of packets, and outputs the data at a set output time. <P>SOLUTION: The required time since transmitting of a process object packet from a packet processor of an originating node till outputting of the packet at the destination node is calculated based on the information concerning a first path read from the process object packet and set beforehand, and status information of a network to which a plurality of nodes (process units) are connected through a transmission line. When the calculated required time is smaller than the difference obtained by subtracting the current time from the output time read from the process object packet, a second path for increasing the required time is calculated and transmission is made through the second path, the residence time of the packet at the destination node is shortened, and the capacity of the buffer which should be held for maintaining the packet can be decreased. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
