PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image print system for improving the satisfaction of a user by safely and surely performing a service to be provided. SOLUTION: When recording medium 5 is inserted or taken out, an LED of an insert opening is made to blink so that a user will not make an error or forget to take the medium. Moreover, prior to the read-in processing of image data, a storage device having a storage capacity not smaller than a predetermined storage capacity is detected, and a service is terminated so that it is possible to avoid such circumstances that it takes a long time to perform the read-in processing. Furthermore, in date acquisition processing, when the image data has no photographic date information, file creation date information or file update date information associated with the image data is acquired, and the date is surely printed on a print object.
