PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image reading device capable of improving interpolation accuracy of a lacked pixel, especially in interpolating data of reading document including periodic data. SOLUTION: The image reading device is provided with a data storing part (2) for storing data in a periphery of the lacked pixel, a filter interpolating part (3) for performing product-sum operation on the data output by the data storing part, a limit processing part (4) for restricting the data output by the filter interpolating part within a range of the data storing part, and an interpolated data inserting part (5) for interpolating the data output by the limit processing part in a position corresponding to the lacked pixel of the data output by the data storage part.
