PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric device which enables a user to easily specify an operation part corresponding to an icon and its function without performing special learning on the basis of the icon displayed on a display, to provide a data processing method, and to provide a program. SOLUTION: In a GUI displayed on a remote controller 301 and the display 101, the correspondence relation of the operation part and the icon is easily specified on the basis of the feature of at least one of arrangements, colors and shapes other than characters, and the function allocated to the icon is instantaneously specified by looking at the icon as well.
